Garden maintenance

Our garden maintenance team is guided by the best practises in horticulture including plant and tree care as well as season appropriate soil care and fertiliser application. Busy Bees also offers options for pest care and weed management that consider families, pets and the environment.

Busy Bees also performs all aspects of lawn care such as coring, aerating, de-thatching, fertilising, topdressing and over-seeding.

We mow, trim, snip, prune, tidy and all with the best, well kept tools and machinery. And, we ALWAYS tidy up after ourselves.

Residential or commercial maintenance schedules can be set up flexibly to suit you and your garden.

Landscaping

From small instant lawn installs or replanting, to larger hard and soft landscaping projects; our team has the experience and the knowledge to help you realise your vision.

We use premium plant suppliers from here in Adelaide to ensure plants are acclimatised to SA conditions. We use quality products such as ‘StraightCurve’ for garden edging and ‘Hunter’ and ‘Rainbird’ for irrigation control.

We have many years experience using excavation equipment and mini loaders and utilise safe work methods and hazard reduction on all sites, for all works.

One of our experienced team suited to your job requirements will attend the site of your home or business to assess, recommend and quote. A written quote is guaranteed within 5 business days of site visit.*

*Delays due to third parties or further, required information - i.e. plans, cable location, other trades - excluded.

Other services

From time to time, we are also engaged to perform more unique projects.

This includes trellis supply and install, stump grinding, raised garden bed installs, drainage supply and install, and other non-structural handy-man tasks.

Pressure Washing

$75/hr all inc.

We now also offer pressure washing as a stand alone service.* We have various equipment to suit jobs such as pavers, patios, garages, concrete, outdoor wet areas amongst others. Pressure washing can be a quick and effective way to have an area looking bright and new again without having to re-new.

*We use both light duty and heavy duty pressure washers dependent on situation - our team will advise - however we do not wash residential premises walls / windows etc for liability purposes. Minimum job requirement 2hrs.

Irrigation

Busy Bees Adelaide supplies, installs and repairs all types of irrigation. We work with trusted brands such as Hunter, Toro and Rainbird and use the best irrigation application according to the situation, water quality and pressure available. From drip irrigation and sub-surface, to pop-ups, timers, control, upgrades of old systems, and plumbing valves, pumps and or tanks; we can help you make the right choices when it comes to managing your water outdoors - nowhere more pertinent than here in SA.

NDIS Service

We have been servicing NDIS clients’ gardening and maintenance needs for more than 5 years. With not only relevant clearances such as NPC, WWCC & NDIS WC but an understanding and respect that our clients appreciate when it comes to visits and importantly, invoicing. We understand NDIS plans can be complex and are happy to help in being flexible to enable our clients to be able to engage our services without being out of pocket.

Fixed price packages for new home builds are based on TOTAL block sizes (assuming recommended 15% - 20% garden / outdoor space) and are for soft landscaping. This includes quality products such as soil, instant lawn (turf), irrigation and irrigation control, tree and plant options and mulch. The prices are based on the assumption the site is ‘ready to work’ or essentially finished building and area for landscaping is ready for top soil. If utilities are not connected, Busy Bees will supply and install all irrigation with everything needed for simple connect via valve to mains water delivery.

Please see ‘Block Menu’ for inclusions or get in touch to discuss your needs or plans. Site preparation including heavy excavations / rock breaking etc are NOT included. Please check with your builder that site is ‘ready to work’ for landscaping.
